Boating meetups in South Florida

The part of boating that nobody sells you with the hull: other people. Sunday raft-ups at the sandbar, group runs down to Boca Chita and Elliott Key, fishing trips with someone who knows the spot, sunset sails, dock parties, coastal cleanups and hands-on classes. Hosting is free and anyone with an account can join in one tap.

Pick a Saturday and a sandbar — host the first meetup. You bring the spot, the community brings the boats.

Going to a raft-up for the first time?

  • Anchor first, then tie up — never raft onto a boat that has not set its hook properly.
  • Fenders on both sides before you get close, and approach into wind and current, slowly.
  • Check the tide: most South Florida sandbars dry out enough to strand a deeper hull.
  • Take out everything you brought in, including the tape off the drinks. It is why the cleanups exist.
  • Life jackets for kids and non-swimmers stay on in the water — sandbars have channels and current right next to them.

Everything on Adonait Dock

Adonait Dock is the South Florida boating marketplace and community: buy and sell boats, engines, electronics and slips; offer or request marine services; find sandbars, ramps, waterfront parks and dock-and-dine spots; join raft-ups and group cruises; and search waterfront homes with private docks for sale and for rent. Listings and posts are created by members — Adonait is not a party to any transaction between them.
